Prime Line Auto Parts LLC ("Prime Line Auto Parts LLC", "we", "our", or "us") values customer satisfaction and strives to provide quality used automotive engines and related drivetrain components.
By placing an order through https://www.primelineautopart.com you agree to this policy.
1. Return Eligibility
Customers may request a return within 30 calendar days from the date the order is delivered.
To qualify for a return, the product must:
- Be returned within 30 calendar days after delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Prime Line Auto Parts LLC.
- Be in substantially the same condition as received.
- Not be installed, modified, disassembled, altered, or damaged by the customer.
- Include all original labels, identification tags, and serial numbers.
- Be accompanied by proof of purchase.
- Have received prior Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) approval from Prime Line Auto Parts LLC.
All returned merchandise is subject to inspection before a refund or exchange is approved.
2. Non-Defective Returns
If you wish to return a product for reasons unrelated to defects, warranty issues, or shipping errors, the following conditions apply:
- An approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is required before shipping any item back.
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
- Any shipping, residential liftgate, limited-access, redelivery, storage, or other freight-related charges actually paid by the customer are non-refundable once the applicable service has been provided or the charge has been incurred.
- A restocking fee of 20% may be deducted from the refund amount.
- Refunds will only be processed after the returned product has been received and successfully inspected.
3. Vehicle Compatibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the product ordered is compatible with their vehicle before placing an order.
Prime Line Auto Parts LLC may request your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to help verify compatibility; however, providing compatibility assistance does not relieve the customer of the responsibility to confirm the correct part before purchase.
Returns resulting from:
- Incorrect ordering
- Vehicle incompatibility
- Customer error
- Change of mind
may be subject to:
- Return freight charges
- Original shipping charges
- A restocking fee of 20%
4. Used Auto Parts Disclaimer
Prime Line Auto Parts LLC specializes in previously owned automotive components.
Because our products are used, normal cosmetic wear, minor scratches, surface oxidation, discoloration, or other cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the intended function of the product are considered normal and are not regarded as defects.
Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the functionality or safety of the product do not qualify as defects or warranty claims.
Eligible products are evaluated as part of our quality control process before shipment to help ensure they meet our quality standards.
5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an incorrect, damaged, or defective product, please contact us as soon as possible. Shipping damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery whenever reasonably possible.
To assist with the claim, customers should:
- Retain all original packaging.
- Take clear photographs of the product and packaging.
- Contact our support team promptly.
For freight deliveries, customers should inspect shipments before signing whenever possible. Visible shipping damage should be noted on the carrier's delivery receipt or Bill of Lading (BOL).
Failure to document visible freight damage may affect the carrier's claim process.
After review, Prime Line Auto Parts LLC may, at its sole discretion and subject to applicable law:
- Replace the product,
- Exchange the product, or
- Issue a refund.
6. Warranty Returns
Products covered by an applicable warranty must follow the procedures described in our Warranty Policy.
Warranty claims may require supporting documentation including:
- Installation invoices
- Diagnostic reports
- Vehicle information
- Photographs or videos
- Proof of purchase
Warranty claims are reviewed individually and remain subject to the applicable warranty terms.
7. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally not eligible for return:
- Installed products
- Modified or disassembled products
- Products damaged through misuse, abuse, neglect, overheating, oil starvation, racing, off-road use, or improper maintenance
- Special-order or custom-sourced products
- Products returned without prior authorization
- Products with removed, altered, or missing identification labels or serial numbers
- Products returned after the approved return period
Nothing in this section limits any rights available under applicable consumer protection laws.
8. Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before shipment.
If an order has not entered processing, packaging, palletization, freight scheduling, or shipment, a full refund may be issued.
Orders that have already entered processing or shipping may not be eligible for cancellation and may be subject to handling, freight, administrative, or restocking charges.
9. Refund Processing
Once an approved return has been received and successfully inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Refunds are generally processed within 5–10 business days after inspection and approval. Additional processing time may be required by your bank, credit card issuer, or payment provider before the funds appear in your account.
Processing times may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution.
10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you experience an issue with your order, we encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Prime Line Auto Parts LLC reserves the right to provide order records, shipping documentation, inspection reports, communications, and applicable policies to financial institutions or payment processors when responding to payment disputes.
11. Return Authorization Required
No returns will be accepted without prior authorization.
To request an RMA, please contact our support team and provide:
- Order Number
- Customer Name
- Vehicle Information (if applicable)
- Reason for Return
- Supporting photographs or documentation
Once approved, we will provide complete return instructions and the authorized return shipping address.
Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned to the sender at the sender's expense.
12. Policy Updates
Prime Line Auto Parts LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time.
Any changes become effective immediately upon publication on our website.
